The trays are filled up with salt water store in the main tank. When all the trays are filled the tank’s tap is closed. Salt water also climb the triangular textiles increasing the evaporation area.
The solar rays evaporate salt water.
The evaporated water condense on transparent cover and slide until the lower part where is collected and address to the harvest system

Thanks to the rotation of the triangular black wick textiles it is possible to have the right orientaion optimizing the performance of the still. Depending on the latitude you can orient the triangular textiles plumb to the solar irradiation.
